As a statement of human society I actually care and want successful women sports. But honestly it depends on women supporting their sports teams, not on us males, if Women sports can't get women interested, then they have no hope of being successful. IMO.
All women sports are shit. Except Volleyball, and or any sport they wear skin tight clothes. Sexist? Maybe but don't care.
I somewhat followed the WC a couple of months ago. The Mexican team is pretty awful, but they're getting better. The US women's team is pretty likeable. Not only are they good players, some of them look like this how can you not like them? Overall though, I'm pretty meh about women sports. Women's soccer is a lot more watchable than women's basketball or softball IMO.
yeah, Servando Carrasco the dude tried out in several teams in Mexico and Argentina with no luck. so MLS was the only way, LOL. at least he's banging that sweet ass
http://www.concacaf.com/page/AssociationNewsDetail/0,,12813~2760583,00.html Ottawa, Ontario Montreal, Quebec Edmonton, Alberta Moncton, New Brunswick Winnipeg, Manitoba I am pretty sure Vancouver is the other 1.
http://www.ussoccer.com/News/Womens...omens-League-Conference-Call-Quote-Sheet.aspx FMF will pay for about 12 Mexico National players to play in the new USA league, I imagine most American-Mexican girls that live in the USA, but maybe some other players like the NT goal keeper.
folded, women sawker is just not profitable they already failed twice going for a third strike now with the USSF behind it and they will even drag the FMF and the Canadians with them. Tho maybe this time they will try to go small "ala" Europe but then again they are the US and they like stuff to be big.
Go big or go home! There are smaller leagues in the USA (W-League and WPSL), they have been around for a long time but they are short and mostly amateur, this new league is going to be smaller (salary, marketing, ect) than the prior league, and that league (WPS) was smaller than the league before (WUSA), so little by little they are finding out what the market will support (and how much the federations are willing to support like in Europe).
Well they already failed twice with that motto, this time seems to be different like you say but still womens sawker is not attractive enough to draw decent crowds in a consistent basis so if they doing this for profit odds are it will fail again.
@FEMEXFUTOFICIAL México derrotó dos goles por uno a Brasil en el Torneo Internacional Femenil de la Ciudad de Sao Paulo Now I dunno how much you guys know about women's football, but this is kind of pretty ********ing huge even in terms of friendly tournaments.
To give you a perspective of how important this is, seeing that this news didn't make the splash it deserved, our record versus Brazil is seven lost, zero tied, and one won. Thirty-three goals in favour of Brazil vs seven by our girls.
@miseleccionmx Buen domingo para todos, la Selección Femenil enfrentará a Portugal en su tercer juego del Torneo de Sao Paulo; en punto de las 14:00 hrs
