I missed the game as I was car hunting, but I heard that the ref was pretty awful from members of my family who were at the match. I've read reports from Saints fans who said they were lucky to get away with the penalty appeals, but I understand that the ref made poor decisions for both teams. Was there a chorus of "are you Rennie in disguise"? :)

If Wolves don't start turning things around, they'll be sitting in the Championship for yet another season when they had the talent to be at the top flight.

Too right. To make matters worse, our "parachute payments" from our Premiership campaign will end this season. If we don't make it back up then we'll have to trim the squad.

Yeah the seasons been a real dissapointment so far. I thought Wolves would take the 1st place spot because they have far more talent then Reading or even Sheffield. Come on ********ing Wolves!!!!

Well, our injury problems seem to be easing - Miller, Cort, Ince, Ricketts and Clyde should be back sometime around the Christmas period. Oakes and Murray should be pushing Postma for the keeper's jersey once they're both fully fit & back up to speed. TBH, I thought we'd turned a corner when Hoddle changed to a 4-4-2 - worked a treat compared to the 4-5-1/4-3-3 or whatever it was supposed to be. Unfortunately he seems to have reverted to that for the "big" games that we've just had. I guess if he's going to play with 3 up front, it would be more effective when we've got a full complement of strikers to choose from.
