....can't people read a few posts up in a thread? You guys are acting like this stuff is new - it switched from WMLS to WLS even before the first season started in '11, and the second division was already gone last year. =-/
Heck, there's nothing even new about their website. It looks like it was last updated in July.

I had problems getting to it last night, but it's working for me now, too.

The "registration" page has some info http://www.womensleaguesoccer.com/registration.html

    (1. c. iii.) 4/15: Preliminary schedules released

    (1. c. iv.) 4/30: Final Schedules released

    (1. c. v.) 5/18: Games begin

    (4. a.) Every effort should be made to work out all scheduling issues between 4/15 and 4/30.

    (4. c.) All games must be played on or before 7/31/13.

    (6. b.) 7 one time substitutions per game.

    (6. c.) Red card recipients will receive an additional one game suspension to be enforced the very next WLS league game. Red card suspensions will carry forward into playoff's or next season if necessary.

So we all missed the new name of "Women's Arena Soccer?"

The article is now on the web site (the same article referenced by ceezmad):

    WLS Womens Soccer Press Release
By Brent Barrow on March 26, 2013 3:53 PM
(Eric) Green named new WLS Commissioner
    http://womensleaguesoccer.com/news/2013/03/green-named-new-wls-commissioner.html

"I am pleased to lead the league as it transitions from outdoor to indoor soccer," said Green. "I am very eager to provide pro playing opportunities for female players who typically have no place to train nor play between November and February."

"We're very excited to compete in WLS this winter," said FC Indiana coach Shek Borkowski. "The league fills a training and playing void for competitive players between November and February. It will be not only fun and entertaining for spectators but also a great development tool for players."

"WLS, Women's Pro Arena Soccer, is a 6v6 soccer competition for women played on a field 60x40 yards without walls. It is the only women's league in North America operating during winter months. The game is played on a field with lines to emphasize the great control and spectacular passing that is such a huge part of the beautiful game. It is played on a synthetic grass surface with a regulation soccer ball. It is, we believe, superior to the popular Futsal in that the surface is more realistic and safer and the use of a real soccer ball more closely resembles the actual game of soccer."
