Prideaux is also getting into club coaching with Seattle United.

Anyone else surprised that Dave Van Den Bergh hasn't popped up on a preseason roster somewhere? As far as I know, he's a free agent since Dallas didn't pick up his option. His 11 assists were 3rd best in the league last year and he added 3 goals -- appearing in all 30 games for FCD.

Not sure why I found this interesting, but Preki's daughter signed for Depaul.

Figured this was a better place for this at this point, Ives is reporting that Hartman didn't make the travel squad for the game in Tampa.

Re: Wizards Alumni v9.1 [R for all games]

Anyone notice that on every Chivas highlight they had a minimum of one forward spaced appropriately at each post; and within a second there were 5 attackers total in the box in support positions. Not over commited all stretching the defense making gaps to play the ball. That was not indicitive of an Onalfo team. Our guys were unsure to leave their defensive responisbilities at a moments notice to pounce on the given advantage. We'd get a release down the flank and not have any forwards running with to cross to at times. In one of these highlights you can see the ball pass through the line to 4th guy in the string to score. I really hope this changes for us some day.

Also, great ball to Hercules there. That pass is to his feet (not a Burciaga special) and it beats all 3 defenders. Hercules does the right thing and just gets it pushed past the keepers foot which is all that's needed when he's that far out. Looks like he's getting confidence with balls delivered into better positions on the ground. With our pitch quality, there is no reason we shouldn't be zipping the ball around on the ground like it was an indoor match.

Being traded sounds so easy, "Adam Cristman was traded for an International Players slot", and I guess if you were playing for the New York Yankees of the Dallas Cowboys it might simply be a case of getting on plane and going ... Thought this was an interesting read.

Totally, had me thinking about the CBA again. I never think about the wives, and kids and the home sales and negative equity and packing when I hear the word "trade" ....

I don't really see why it matters. This thread is just for fun/informational purposes anyway. I personally don't have any problems with keeping tabs on the guy and seeing what becomes of him.
