Well it's October, but that hasn't stopped the press from linking players to Juve come January. This is the place to talk about them.

    Juve keen on Basel's Stocker

Basel midfielder Valentin Stocker is a January transfer target for Juventus, reports in the Swiss Press have suggested.

Geruchteticker.com have claimed that the Bianconeri have been casting a keen eye over the 24-year-old, and could make a move during the mid-season break.

The Switzerland international impressed during the RotBlau’s run in the Champions League and Europa League last term, and has been watched by Antonio Conte’s side a number of times.

Stocker joins Parma’s Jonathan Biabiany and Jeremy Menez of Paris Saint-Germain as potential targets for the Scudetto holders.

    Great, this God-forbidden thread ....

I got this from a French poster on a different forum. Not sure why Menez would be linked to us ....

Jeremy Menez aka "Oyster IQ" might move to Juventus next winter that cretinus had another temper tantrum last week during PSG-Benfica. Good luck with him.

Pelle for me. Do whatever to get him but offload Llorente first.

Why should we get rid of Llorente?

    Juve target Fulham's Kasami

It’s reported Juventus are targeting Fulham midfielder Patjim Kasami, bringing him back to Serie A in January.

The Swiss Under-21 international would be returning to Italy, having played for Palermo in 2010-11.

According to Infoticker in Switzerland, Kasami has been targeted by theBianconeri for the January transfer window.

His agent is Mino Raiola, who often works with Serie A clubs and is familiar with Juventus.

This season 21-year-old Kasami has notched up one goal in eight games forFulham between the Premier League and League Cup.

Graziano Pelle? He plays for Feyenoord. If so pass, he's 28 and has only scored regularly in Holland. He was terrible in Italy.

Scoring goals in the Dutch league may be inflated. Altidore scored a bunch last year. I don't think he has bagged one yet in the EPL.

    Juve plan Vidic scenario
    By Football Italia staff

Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on the possibility of Nemanja Vidicbeing available next summer on a free transfer.

Set to turn 32 later this month, the centre-back’s current deal at Manchester United will expire in June 2014.

Whilst United manager David Moyes has recently stated his intention for the club to negotiate a new deal this autumn with the club captain, Tuttosportsuggest that the player may be reluctant.

It is a situation that reportedly has Juventus as one of a number of clubs monitoring and that the Bianconeri may have an advantage.

It is seen that should Vidic get into February next year without having renewed his contract, director general Beppe Marotta is optimistic of closing a deal with his agent, Silvano Martina.

Martina is seen to have a good relationship with Juve, due to his representation of goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

I would take Vidic in a heart beat, he could easily fill Bonucci's roll. A definite upgrade in quality right there.

Another rumor today is that Isla will be sold in January (good).

would also allow us to switch between 3-5-2 and 4-3-3.

speaking of formations, rumor has it that Conte will start employing a 4-3-1-2 with Vidal as the CAM.

I can see that. Who will be the left back? Asamoah would be suicidal. Ogbonna would work. Rotate Chiellini, Bonucci & Barzagli at center back. Asamoah could rotate with Marchisio & Pogba. Solves are lack of width problem.

Im thinking we'll line up with something like this:
    Buffon
    Lichtsteiner-Barzagli-Chiellini-Ogbonna
    Pogba-Pirlo-Marchisio
    Vidal
    Vucinic-Tevez
but I doubt Conte benches Bon-Bon so we'd probably see him in the center with Chiellini on the left. Or Peluso at times.

For me, the formation makes sense that allows good rotation among the roster. For instance, Tevez can rotate with Vidal in that role and one of the other strikers play up front. The biggest problem with Conte has been relying on the same 11-13 players. Can't do that and expect to compete for both the scudetto and CL.

Vidic is better than Bonucci and Ogbonna.

hes also ancient while the other two are still trying to fulfill their potential, not to mention one of the two has been a starter for one of Europe's finer defenses.

Ogbonna is 25 and Bonucci is 26, if they haven't fulfilled their potential by now then they never will.
