"Despite his premature withdrawal, teenager Packwood can be rightly pleased with his first appearance at this level of football and his manager was keen to drum in that fact as he applauded the young American off the field." http://www.bcfc.com/news/article/blues-1-charlton-1-319657.aspx?pageView=full#anchored
Don't worry, the manager applauded him off the field. Plus he's a teen. Wait 10 minutes Will Packwood again. I miss Max Cream.
Article on Will in the NY Times http://goal.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/28/19-year-old-american-flashes-potential-for-birmingham-city/
I'm hoping that Packwood could help Birmingham City get promoted this year. My only fear is that he and Spector get in each others way.
After getting a start on the 22nd in a 2-2 home draw against Burnley, Packwood has been out of the squad the last two games. He was missed the boxing day fixture due to illness. Packwood has made 4 starts for Birmingham City in the Championship this year and one in the League Cup. Birmingham City are currently in 20th and are 7 points clear of the relegation zone though they have played one additional game then the best placed team in the drop zone. They have a road match up against Leeds United in the third round of the FA Cup.
Suffered an apparent serious leg injury today. It's not good Hoping for the best It could be bad news for Birmingham City, the US U20 team, and most of all Will Packwood
Reading reports out of Birmingham, I hope he can get his career on track someday. Sounds very, very bad
As far as I can tell from twitter he went up for a header and came down awkwardly. Players were reacting like it was a catastrophe. Oxygen mask, players crying etc.
