to me it's seemed more like a strong suggestion, or an emphasized preference.

they've made tons of exceptions before, why not this one. anything to accommodate a women's pro league. there's apparently no absolute hard and fast rule.

You can always sign the one from last year asking for him to kicked out :D
I think that got more sigs in favor of it than one asking for his reinstatement

OK, So my thought is this, if USSF uses the money it saves by having the league to propp up WPS (If memory serves correct, they do not have have a 30 Day paid camp each summer during off years) until teams start to break somewhat even (3-5 years if all goes well) they could really get a lot of good will and this will increase attendance at WNT games before the team starts to see sub 10K crowds again... It is good advertising

How many are holding off getting WPS Season Tickets because of this mess ?... this is hurting getting new teams and season ticket holders on board because I would guess that the numbers are down

Emma Hayes keeps tweeting that the 5 teams will go ahead with a season with/without sanctioning. So at least we have that to comfort the season ticket holders..

WPSL Pro league has been in the works for over a year. The Orange County and Bay Area pro teams joined a year ago already. W-League has previously had pro teams and reignited talks of a separate pro division earlier in the year. There's always a whole lot of talk. Still waiting for the action.

i think it goes back to my 3-2 vote theory. sahlen and boston pro jack, and atl, philly and sbfc anti-jack. you really don't want dan voting if you are possibly sitting at 3-2. what a complete mess? they just had to find a common ground with magicjack like sahlen said at the end of last season. what a mess?

isn't the suit about trying to get his team back?

I don't get this quote at all:

Is he trying to say Borislow wasn't invited to the meeting? He most certainly was.

The most important thing is the survival of the league. I REALLY doubt USSF will let WPS fold. Below is an encouanging statement:

“It’s partly because of the W.U.S.A. and now W.P.S. that we won gold in 2008 and silver at the World Cup,” said Jennifer Hitchon, the executive director of the union that represents the league’s players. She added, “The league is fragile and fraught with problems, but it’s ours and the federation will be hard-pressed to effectively shut down the last best chance for a women’s pro soccer league in this country.”
