I think Brazil will win the 2012 Olympics, but if they fail will menezes job be gone? if that happens who do you think they will replace him with.

I agree with you about Brasil winning it. The amount of U-23 talent they have relative to the other countries is vast. As far as Mano being shit-canned if they don't win, Yes. Everything I've seen leads to this being a do or die situation for him. But thats only how I take it, others might disagree.

Who will replace him? I have no idea. Scolari maybe? I personally would bring in a foreigner with no ties to anybody. But I understand most Brasileiros wouldn't be up for that, which is understandable.

One can only wish regardless of what happens in the Olympics

^ Agreed. Olympics are not that big of a deal in football.

Agree. But it is for Mano. If he doesn't win he's gone. Everything statement I read from Marin alludes to this fact.

2 flights, hopefully. One going to Brasil with 1 burro on it. And the other going to Sweeden with the Selecao on it.

Personally i'd re-hire Scolari, yes his club record isn't great. But internationally, i don't think there's been many better in knockout tournament scenario's.

It seems Marin already said today that Mano is staying until 2014. We are doomed.

The way I see it he is staying until Wednesday (Sweden in Stockholm - see separate thread) and then we will see if the press ramp it up and get him out. Romario has slagged him off by going for his balls and saying it was all his fault. What a surprise!

Sao Paulo's dirigentes are channeling their inner Romario and coming at Mano.

They also threw 2 names out there who they think should take over. Muricy Ramalho and Felipao.
