    Then you would be wrong.

The problem is the money or sex grabbing factor. The Religious aspect probably plays a part, too.

A bit late in replying to this (OK, 2 years late :p)

Saudi Arabia took part in the first ever FIFA Futsal World Cup in the Netherlands in 1989.

    Their results were:
    Spain 8-2 Saudi Arabia
    Brazil 8-0 Saudi Arabia
    Hungary 11-2 Saudi Arabia

They then decided not to play futsal again until 2007, when they took part in the Asian Indoor Games in Macau.

    Their results:
    Lebanon 5-2 Saudi Arabia
    Iran 15-1 Saudi Arabia
    Indonesia 4-0 Saudi Arabia
Saudi Arabia 12-5 Kyrgyzstan (first and only win of Saudi Arabia futsal national team, very unexpected as Kyrgyzstan are one of the better teams in Asia at futsal).

Saudi Arabia has decided to take part in qualifying for the 2012 Asian Futsal Championship:

They must finish in the Top 3 in the West Asian qualifying zone in Kuwait.

    DRAW:
GROUP A: Kuwait, Qatar, Palestine, Syria, Saudi Arabia
GROUP B: Bahrain, Iraq, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates

Top 2 in each group go to semi-finals, finalists and 3rd place team go on to Asian finals next year.

    Saudi Arabia's matches:
    9th December v Kuwait
    10th December v Palestine
    11th December v Syria
    12th December v Qatar

Do any of our clubs even have futsal teams for them to select from?
Futsal is a bit pointless, but I like 5-a-side.

I'm professional futsal coach with international experience. And I would like help develop futsal in Saudi Arabia. Saudi have talent player, could be the best national team in Middle East. Have condition for that.

I can only repeat what has been said in this thread 4 years ago. We know nothing about this sport through the media, I've never heard about Saudi league or clubs playing it, only friendly matches i.e. between retired players, or seasonal tournaments as the ones played in Ramadan.

Yes that true, and they gate second post, against team like Qatar, Bahrein and UAE, all this country have professional league and Brazilian or Spanish coach. Saudi without experience get it second post, amazing. I knew some futsal Saudi player in Kuwait world futsal futsal cup 2013. And I can tell you guys, Saudi have talent.

Its the exposure and the support we need . If FA takes up this form of game and bring on developments then we can do well. Same with the beach soccer.
