ive got to be honest, i still would have been upset if Osvaldo made the penalty. imo the league is lost and there are only two things important for me regarding roma: Totti's record and Coppa. everything else doesnt matter. I dont see us qualifying for europa unless its through the coppa. For me, this has been another lost year made bearable only through the emergence of marcos. so yes, i would be still be upset regardless because that should have been number 224
On one hand you are right on the other you are so quick to hate on the management. Mexes was gone when Baldini arrived, thanks to the dottoressa. Juan was here last season and looked finished. The only question mark is Pizarro, who has hardly played with continuity this year. Also a bit harsh in my opinion on Lamela. I think he's grown a lot this season, perhaps the Zeman effect, but I think he's improved.
How the hell can you say Montella was right? What, Lamela had 2 or 3 bad games and now he's suddenly not good again. He's our top scorer at 20, what more could you ask of him? Do you think Ronaldo was perfect in every game when he was 20? Was Messi? Of course they weren't, consistency comes with age. Montella wanted to sell Lamela for Alejandro Gomez, right? I dont understand why everyone blame angel, he is young and talented. Everybody hails Destro but he has not doing anything magical for roma just misses tons of changes.They are youngsters and they need playtime, jose angel needs to play and get experience, this is the most important skill for defender, defender needs time to grow up.I dont think that balzaretti has done much better than angel.

We sell Osvaldo maximum 8 -10 million but what next? can we get someone better of this money? There is no good alternatives and we dont need another "Destro" inexperienced striker, who wont concede goals and miss tons of chances. Maybe David Villa ? He is 31 but i think better option than Osvaldo.
I would prefer if we got Messi than Villa,don't get me wrong Villa is a top player but Messi is slightly better and would be a great fit at Roma.
Messi 100+ mil. compared Bojan 3 year deal approximately 30+ mil. euros. Villa 15-20 mil. I think Villa is not bad choice. We need some expierienced players not only youngsters and possible future stars(they may not grow up stars). Who quarantees that Destro become great Striker ? Maybe he has gotten his max potential.
