We all know why Freddy Adu was named an all-star (politics, ratings, money).

But putting that aside for a moment and thinking ideally, what snubbed striker from the East deserves to be named to the East All-Star team more than Freddy Adu?

If yur just talking strikers well almost any starting striker and maybe some that don't start. Jeff Cunningham shoulda made it, but didn't.

If we're talking results, not what the player will bring the game in star quality...

    Davy Arnaud.

I'll go out on a limb and say that Freddy's selection didn't take an All-Star slot from Davy Arnaud.

All I'm saying is that everyone on the top of the scoring charts is in this game except for Arnaud. And while Adu is on the Eastern side, on pure performance I don't think there is any arguement over who has had the better season between the two.

Tony Meola. He is having his best year since 2000.

Um, Adu's in the east. Cannon and Meola are on the west team.

    Um, no kidding.

Neither Cannon or Meola are on the all*star team, and they both deserve to be more than Adu, regardless of conference.
