ideally I would classify him as a right midfielder
Guerrero and Pizarro would be the fowards
Vargas on the left, Farfan on the right

one of the forwards to look out for would be Paolo Guerrero, not particularly great for Hamburg but he does play well(usually) for Peru

Felipe Caicedo has been impressive as well in La Liga this season, he's just one goal under Rondon, with 11goals and above Nilmar and Luis Fabianho !

he's done well, but a season or a season and a half aren't enough to be among the best...we've seen too many flashes in the pan with south american players to confuse the best with the best prospects

    BARRIOS, Lucas (Borussia Dortmund)
    CAICEDO, Felipe (Levante)
    CARDOZO, Óscar (Benfica)
    CAVANI, Edinson (Nápoli)
    FALCAO, Radamel (Porto)
    FARFÁN, Jefferson (Schalke 04)
    FORLÁN, Diego (Atlético Madrid)
    GUTIÉRREZ, Teófilo (Racing Club)
    HAUCHE, Gabriel (Racing Club)
    HIGUAÍN, Gonzalo (Real Madrid)
    HULK (Porto)
    LAVEZZI, Ezequiel (Nápoli)
    LISANDRO López (Olympique Lyon)
    LUÍS FABIANO (Sevilla)
    LUIZ ADRIANO (Shakhtar Donetsk)
    MAXI LÓPEZ (Catania)
    MESSI, Lionel (Barcelona)
    MILITO, Diego (Inter de Milán)
    MOURA, Rafael (Fluminense)
    NEYMAR (Santos)
    NILMAR (Villarreal)
    PATO, Alexandre (AC Milan)
    PIZARRO, Claudio (Werder Bremen)
    RONDÓN, Salomón (Málaga)
    SÁNCHEZ, Alexis (Udinese)
    SAVIOLA, Javier (Benfica)
    SILVA, Santiago (Vélez Sársfield)
    SUÁREZ, Luis (Liverpool)
    SUAZO, Humberto (Monterrey)

Rafael Moura isn't even a starter for his team and not even among the top 5 strikers playing Brazil.

    Neymar (Santos)
    Luis Fabiano (São Paulo)
    Dagoberto (São Paulo)
    Leandro Damião (Internacional)
    Diego Maurício (Flamengo)
    Fred (Fluminense)
    Kléber (Palmeiras)
    Liédson (Corinthians)
    Rafael Sóbis (Internacional)

I find it interesting that your list includes only Brazil-based players. How about Pato or Robinho, or others playing in Europe?

He didn't mean that he thinks those guys are all the best forwards today in South America. He was correcting Perú FC in the sense that all those guys that Mengao86 mentions are better currently than Rafa Moura, and that's only in Brazil without mentioning many other players. That's all. ;)

Read my post carefully. I said Rafael Moura isn't even a top 5 striker in Brazil and then proceeded to list those playing in Brazil like him.

Pato and Robinho play abroad and if he thinks Rafael Moura is better than him, there is no reason to even argue.

I like using "" quotes when the response is to another post, and not responding to the OP. Just an idea. ;)
