I really hope it's Montella, Totti and Cassano will get atleast 15 a piece if they play almost every game and if Montella scores over 25 (which would be needed to be scoring champ) Roma will finish in the top 3 (assuming the defence improves when Chivu gets back).

I think Shevchenko will be top scorer again though, with Adriano a few goals back.

Adriano is less likely to play as many games as Sheva. Shevchenko gets injured less per year and also doesn t have as much competition from Tomasson and the fading strikers Inzaghi and Crespo whereas Adriano has to worry about Martins, Vieri (if he ever finds his form) and Cruz...these two factors should definetely be taken into consideration and i think that Shevchenko will be top scorer.

I don't think that any player in the world could take away Adriano's spot at Inter. The only reason he'd miss a game, barring injury, is that he's being rested for the CL. Barring injury, he's my pick to lead the league in scoring.

Adriano should be this season's cappocannonieri. After what he showed yesterday and the form he has shown throughout this season, Adriano will probably be it. The only one close to Adriano is Shevchenko who's also on great form with Milan. They are even in the goalscoring sheet with 5 goals each. Montella is at the top with 6 goals. Go Nerazzurri!!! :D

I dunno guys i think that if Del Piero gets back in to top form he can get right up there with shev and adriano. But i truly believe this year it will go to vincenzo Montello. god we could have used him for euro 2004

Come on, folks ... haven't you heard it's Be Nice to Newbies month. :) So, I'll pitch in to the cause and ask why it is SO inconceivable that Del Piero could be up with the league leaders? Aside from the fact that he gets hurt every time he turns the wrong way. But, really, he DID score 16 goals in only 24 league appearances two years ago. 'Course, that included 6 PKs, but that just points out that being your team's primary PK-taker certainly helps in the goal-counting department.

Hey guys i was never stating that he could win it all i was saying was that he could get up there if he is in huge form. And he was a big goal scorer once when he slotted in 21 goals, or have you forgotten. Listen if he gets back i huge form he will be the player he was 2 years ago which im hoping that he will be.

I think he'll need to for Inter to win the Scudetto. Vieri's a great player but I don't have confidence in him pulling through for them when they really need him.
