As of the start of the 2011-2012 domestic leagues, which club missing the 2012-2013 Champions League would be more shocking?

If Chelsea misses the CL, I'll eat my hat.

Inter are 2009-10 European Champions, 2010 Club World Cup champions, 2010–11 league champions, and twice in a row domestic cup champions, among other titles.

Chelsea have one 1 league and 1 domestic cup in the same period.

    So Inter for me.

It's a fair point (not really about the club world cup, mind you), but Chelsea have spent that much money it's hard for me to go for Inter.

It isn't, I wouldn't joke about anything as serious as football.

So maybe I'm gonna have to deal with stomach problems. Ugh, c'mon Blues....

Inter missing out isn't all that surprising. As soon as we knew Italy would only get 3 teams to the Champions League, obviously there was a good chance of a "surprise".

England still have their 4 places and Chelsea still have Abromovich. So that has to be far more surprising. Especially with Arsenal losing Cesc and Nasri.

Chelsea won't be missing it because they will be in by default after winning it this year :D

The FA Cup is a mickey mouse, tin pot cup. Did it help Chelsea qualify for the CL?? Nope. What a waste. Chels need a back-up plan to qualify for the CL in case they don't beat Bayern. FA Cup is bollox.

All this, and the Premiership is more competitive.

As brilliant as Udinese's management has been over the past few years, Inter has too much talent to finish outside the top 3 in Italy. They get my vote, too.
