After reading Jenkinson's comments about Lee Dixon, it reminded me of what I really would love to have at Arsenal: A strong affirmed base of past players who remain a part of the club. Clubs like Bayern, Ajax, Utd have a seemingly solid set of past generation players that contribute to different facets of the club, and maintain a sense of continuity. After moving stadiums, and losing so many players, and changing our bloody badge, it feels like so much has been lost. Big time. I'm sure I'm saying what you all already know, but I'd like to know what the club is doing about this.
FWIW the other day I saw a video on Arsenal.com of the locker room pre-Next Gen vs Inter and Jens popped in to shake all the boys' hands. Kinda cool i thought
there are a few old Arsenal players around the club. Bould and Brady are just two off the top. I feel like red & wite army means 98-Invincible Era players.
really had no idea where to put this, so i'll throw it in here for now. http://english.alarabiya.net/en/spo...ns-football-field-at-Syrian-refugee-camp.html
