Hi there, I'm looking at a number of different whey proteins, but I really can't decide which to go for. There's myprotein.com, which is dirt cheap, and then there are ones such as muscle milk, or the standard holland and barret stuff. Has anyone got any recommendations? Cheers, Dan
Hey Dan, You mentioned holland and barrett, so you must be in the uk, right? Well I'd say go for an organic protein powder, as these are healthier and don't have high levels of heavy metals like mercury, which lots of 'normal' protein powders contain. Unfortunately you can only really get these in north america at the moment, but there is one in the UK called Organic Whey Protein and they are giving money to charity as well which seems nice. Problem is, they aren't selling yet. On the other hand, there are lots of organic hemp proteins around already, but they don't taste so great.
First, as you probably know, isolate is the better stuff. That said, if you can find the brand Syntrax near you, try it. It's the isolate, and they offer fruit flavors. I've just bought two cannisters of the "Fuzzy Navel" flavor (peach/orange) that is amazing. Tastes like a regular sports drink. Got really tired of the same old vanilla and chocolate, but this stuff goes down like angel piss. Can I say that? I found it online for $24 a two-pound cannister.
When protein is very natural product and no artificial thing add,so no side effect generate in to use. When you want for protein supplements to build muscle, whey protein is the very best, it really is.
You check this site http://www.fitnessrepublic.com/nutrition/diet.html, I am sure you get different ideas for whey proteins.
