Peri got the start for TFC down in Nicaragua for CCL. I would guess he is pretty happy about getting cut...

And I believe an assist as well...not to mention a nice offensive-lineman style block to finish the assist and open space for the shot.

With as weak as our strikers have been this season, how did he not even get a look?

IMO... Cause he, Peri, can't separate from defenders at the first team level.

Everyone thought Dallas was idiots for trading Ibby Ibrahim after he did some stuff in his first few games. Where is he now? Peri is, IMO, not an MLS-caliber forward and it will show eventually.

Are you sure it's that, and not the fact that nobody wanted to pay the salary that was requested..

I only know what the article said. "However, at some point on Tuesday evening, Johnson, 27, decided to decline the agreed terms."

I thought I read somewhere were only one team was even interested in the salary, as it was presented..how it'd grow over the years etc..
I can't remember where that was..

But, I did see where it shows as him deciding not to come back..

    Very fascinating indeed..

I've followed his workings at the club level and he's done some productive and positive work. Well deserved.
