Celtic Park sounded fantastic again tonight. If Wenger could get our players to work as hard as Lennon's bhoys tonight I think we would all be a lot happier
PSG, Malaga, Dortmund, Juventus, Bayern or Barcelona Thanks Arsene, no problem in the next round mate... *sigh*
Strange injury. It looks like he hurt his leg by kicking the ball. I thought at first it would be his planted leg. Best of luck to him, i may hate Barca but Messi is truly a legend of the sport.
I'll take anyone but Barca - not because I think we'd have a good chance against the other sides, I just don't think I can stomach another Barca beatdown.
i would have, if they'd got through "clean", but he either cheated or he didn't, and he did...pretty blatantly too. remember the sh!te eduardo took for a much less clearcut incident? well i do. good crowd though.
Shakthar, Celtic, Galatasaray, Valencia, Porto, Milan, Real Madrid. honestly, yes. not to mention the advantage of having the 2nd game at home/etc..
so is Nuri Sahin up for POY yet? still kinda waiting for this guy to take over the league like i was told by the experts on here.
Yeah, ok. I guess I just assume that if we turn up in a round of 16 CL game in our current domestic form, it really doesn't matter who we are up against. Although this will come after the January transfer window, so maybe we'll have some new names by then? fingers crossed
sorry, i can't stand this diving/cheating bollocks, and if a benfica or spartak player had done it tonight and got celtic knocked out would you be so blase (or if it had happened to us?). what i meant was it didn't take a replay to see it was a dive. the only thing the replays did was confirm he had dived. it wasn't exactly one of those did he/didn't he things.
Im happy that Celtic advanced, tbf. But they should pursue action to get Samaras banned. Its only right http://metro.co.uk/2009/08/27/scottish-fa-dive-in-over-eduardo-row-367349/ http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...h-FA-Arsenal-striker-Eduardo-banned-dive.html nope, I have not forgotten.
I didn't remember it really, but I looked it up http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18024212 I assume it's a result of part Argentinian culture, part racism, part rivalry. But that's just a potential explanation not an excuse. Hopefully he's cleaned up his act in the 4 yrs since the alleged incident. But to wish the guy a career-ending injury because of this, or because of anything for that matter, well that's surely lowering yourself down into the same gutter that you supposedly object to.
ESPN's scroll was saying the injury was a knee bruise. Did he knock knees with himself? I don't get it.
