With the announcement of the three send-off series matches that the USMNT will be playing as part of their final preparation before flying off to Brazil for the World Cup, what matches are you all planning on attending? I know some if not most were kind of rolling their eyes when it was revealed that Azerbaijan was one of their opponents but none the less this will be a wonderful celebration of the Stars and Stripes for us all. Turkey is NYC/NJ will be great in America's biggest city will be epic before heading down to Florida for a week of training before taking on Nigeria in their final tune-up. I myself will be attending the final two matches at Red Bull Arena and in Jacksonville. Looking forward to it big time as it will be epic.
I want JAX if USSoccer would be kind to start selling tickets that way I can at least arrange my work sched. Less than 3 mos away and clock is ticking.
Glad to have a game locally, even if it's just Azerbaijan. I'm definitely going, although my wife and kid will probably skip it.
I'll be going to the game in San Francisco. The New York match was also enticing since it is on the weekend but I have to save at least some money for Brazil, gotta eat something (and just maybe drink a few things)
I will be going to the game in Jacksonville. Live in South Florida so I will be making the drive up with my dad and some friends. Should be a good time. Can't wait to send the boys off to Brazil!
I feel exactly the same way, it's so rare we get a US game around here that the weaker opponent isn't a big deal (I mean the last game I went to was China in San Jose). Just got my tix, me my kid and my cousin, and it'll be my first (and last) Candlestick experience too.
Going to the match against Azerbaijan on Tuesday! Didn't think we were going until just a couple weeks ago so didn't get AO tickets but we got 4th row sec 41, looks like right up next to a corner flag. Our gear for the game. Same scarves, just showing the flip sides.
I just realized I'm going to be in NYC during the Turkey game... wow did I not plan this well. I guess I'll be watching the match from whatever sports bars are in LaGuardia.
Sadly, none. I had thought I would be deep in a major work crunch, plus the cherry crop comes in about the time of these games. I felt I couldn't travel. In reality, the project got temporarily halted, but the cherry crop is still coming in, then my daughter decided to move and my husband booked a trip to visit his elderly mom.
