We were talking about the debate of whether or not to root for other Argentine teams, so I was just wondering what teams do people like as neutrals? I loved Huracan from 2009, but a lot of their fans rub me the wrong way. At the moment I am loving Godoy Cruz. They play some incredible futbol and I really like to see teams from the interior doing well. I hope we get more to ascend next season I also am a sympathizer of Aldosivi and Tallares I am also trying to follow C.A.I. de Comodoro Rivadavia, because they are the highest ranked side from patagonia and it would be cool to see them in the primera
I follow a blogger (non-soccer, but he is a fan of soccer) who is an American expat to TdF, but I don't think any teams exist that far south. I'm not sure what TdF's highest-level team is. CAI is intriguing. First I've heard of them being from Pat. As plastic as this is, I like Boca. One day many moons ago, I decided merely that I liked their kits, and that's big for me . What I like in general is to see freshly promoted teams stay up and avoid the drop. But I've been a bit busy with other leagues (I'm American and like seeing the American game take off), so I'm not sure who those teams are this time around (All Boys, maybe?).
I agree but you can admire something about the club.I admire Racing fans eternal pasion and optimism in the face of all the problems.I like Independientes loyalty to their futbol.I like Godoy Cruz making their tradition. in Mendoza.I admire Velez for their organization etc.
I hate all teams that are not Boca. But I like the Selecciones, and a bunch of teams in other sports.
And I don't know why being a Boca fan is considered to be plastic. I am a Boca fan because my father is one. From the earliest memoery of my childhood, from the first time I watched soccer, my father taught me to love Boca and hate everyone else. And things that you learn in early childhood are impossible to get rid off.
If we are talking of a certain time-frame, I liked Huracan of 09 with Pastore and De Federico. I also like the current (since 09') Velez team. They are fun to watch. I used to enjoy watching San Lorenzo earlier last decade, but that was mainly because of the delightful Romagnoli. Overall, I have a soft spot for Racing.
