I assure you, by the end of the year Newcastle will be a middle-of-the-road club. Sunderland had a similar run during 2010-2011 and they ended up slumping to mid-table by the end of the year. Honestly, Everton or Villa would probably be a tougher club to get a spot in than Newcastle.
Newcastle are a bit of a mess of a club behind the scenes. Maybe Gonzalez would be able to handle it, but it wouldn't help a developing player.
How likely is it that Omar will be leaving come January or even June? How much do you guys wager he's worth?
I say PSV. Johnny O developed in the Netherlands, Beasley and Bradley used it as a first step from MLS and Jozy is making it rain there after a series of less-than-successful stints in Spain, England and Turkey. Plus the club has quite a bit of history and the fans are hungry for success.
It's more than a few... and I wouldn't call Alice elite because she's just now becoming famous in her late 20's. As for Omar... yeah go to Europe for that magic Euro pixy dust big boy!
I always find this criticism odd. I lived in England half my life and I'm from America. It's not as if every other woman you cross in America is a beauty queen. I've been to Wall Mart. .... and Alice Eve isn't even #1 on my list of English Alice's. Get your googles at the ready and type in Alice Goodwin, thank me later. Soooo, How 'bout this Omar Gonzalez eh? He's a player ain't he?
Ryan Nelson made the jump quite capably to the EPL....as did Boca. I think Omar is on a similar playing level when those guys left, especially considering MLS is a bit better now than it was back then.
Hey, if the opportunity is there, he should take it. All I'm saying is that it might be a bumpy ride.
bad fake boobs are not cool. Those things defy gravity in the space-time continuum. I have seen far more realistic boobs on mannequins.
P. sure that the English are the ones that love deep-frying everything. I mean, alcoholism makes you fat, but not that fat.
