What ever happened to FOX FOOTBALL FONE IN with Eric Wynalda and Nick Webster. They replaced it with this lame show shoe Soccer Talk with whats his face. Why did did they get rid of that show I loved how Wynalda and Webster always fought. They had no chemistry at all but it was an awesome show
The fact that anyone expects anything of quality to come out of there is laughable. FSC has *never* been able to produce original content that is watchable. That's because their budget is spent on the EPL rights, not on hiring quality talent, writers, production staff, etc... So until their corporate parent puts more money into FSC to improve their on-air product you should just assume that you will continue to see more of the same.
I do want to hear more from Wynalda, but I'm so glad that I hardly ever have to hear that Webster idiot anymore
I stopped watching when they dumped Steven Cohen. When he left, the passion for the game left and Webster was free to turn the show into a promotional trainwreck. He single-handedly ruined that great show.
I would have loved to see Cohen AND Wynalda together on the show... Eric continued to improve and get better, IMO. Webster just kind of came across as a bit of a homer. He wasnt awful, but seemed a bit like he was there to keep eric from "misbehaving" or more to manage the show.. Hopefully it comes back.. This curent show is pretty bad.
Fox Football Fone in, was so much better than Soccer Talk Live, with that clown Martino. Talk about painful to watch, besides that chick who reads the emails..lol...
Yea Wynlada wasn't bad to listen to....I can't stand FSC at times. They're SOOO biased towards the Premiere League. There are other leagues, that deserve recognition... Serie A,La Liga,etc... Even the goals of the week are biased..lol...out of the total of 5, 4 are from the EPL...lol. Martino needs a writer. His sense of humor is painful. I'd rather listen to Costigen...
Wynalda and Martino both have their flaws. Overall it's a step down from Webster and Cohen - which was a step down from Webster and Geber. Soccer Talk Live would be great if it was 2 hours, had a panel discussion to discuss hot topics amongst people with some opinions and not just a few twitter comments.
