Prefer Ukraine and Czechs but if we have to play against a African team then Egypt or Mali

    Rumored dates
    May 31 vs Jordon
    - Bosnia plays 1 day b4 against Ivory Coast
-Czechs are free on this date as the only game b4 is May 21st
-Scottland plays Nigeria 3 days b4
    - Egypt plays chile on this date

    June 5 vs Trinidad (canceled)
    - Bosnia plays 1 day later against Mexico
    - plays 2 days later against Austria..... don't see it happening
    - Scottland is free this day as no games for june
    - Egypt is free on this date
    - Mali has no games in June
    - South Africa has no games for June

    Both dates Free
    Ukraine
    Jordon
    Senegal
    Sierre Leone
    Syria
    Cape Verde
    Guinea
Burkina Faso - they were also linked to us before the Tunsia game

    African teams

Senegal will be the only test. It really time to see if Jackson/Teo - Bacca/Teo up front or if we will go with 1 striker in a 4-2-3-1 which we kind of played in the belgium game and prob our best formation w/o Falcao. Will also be the last chance some guys have to make the squad. Guarin, Valdez, Balanta, Quintero, Darwin if he gets called, Muriel, Adrian Ramos don't get minutes in this game they are good as cut from the team. I really want to see him bring Alex Meija to the WC. Guy is beastly at DM and can see him being our starter for next Copa America but not sure if he will get Sanchez or Valencia to get the boot.

Jordon will be another test subs but we have to have our last 23 for this game which is crazy its such a weak team but better then nothing. Again here will will see who will be our strikers for the tourney and what we finally decide as a formation.

I remember being really sad watching the 2010 WC. Thought all the teams sucked and if we had made the WC we would have gone very far in the tourney.

What Are Your Expectations for the World Cup?

Si llegamos a cuartos o adelante: FUCKING GREAT :D:cool::)

Man i just want to get out of the group stages to be honest.... 1 game at a time but if we me make it to the round of 16 we would either play Italy, England, or Uruguay. I think we can beat Uruguay and England... Italy would be a very tough game but not impossible!

Most of our players are familiar with Italian players and tactics so that could help us against them big time.

That said, one game at a time as you said KLopez. Group stage should be fun.

that's what I been saying all along in this thread, yes this Team has a lot of potential and we can see them going far.
But is the first world cup for these guys and the other teams are not precisely pushovers, so we could get an ugly surprise; but here we are talking about who we could encounter in quarter finals.
In the whole history of the NT we only manage to pass group stages only once (by being the best 3rd btw)
so our aim right now should be surpassing that, after that we will try to go further. But lets focus on just passing group stages.

Personally we have the tools to beat anyone, but like I said the lack of experience plays a factor and we are rating this team based on the great qualifiers that are already long gone.
Im not saying that this team is worst that the one in the qualifiers, maybe is better, but that's the whole point!! ITS different and because is different we could get surprises, and once again I dont mean bad surprises, it could be good surprises also. All Im saying is dont rate the team solely on the qualifiers, expect changes, low level or high level of playing....

well the Italians are familiar with our players too :p; Which now that i think about it, I think it does help because they will shut down Cuadrado with a bunch of players leaving spaces for James.... and you know what happen if you leave spaces to James :whistling:

It's very possible; all they need is one goal while outsmarting us. But I don't think that Spain will make it to the finals.

Yea but Germany, Italy and Brazil are much better than Spain. Would be awful to beat the best teams historically then trip against spain. Only closers drink coffee in the morning and we are the Cafeteros... We need to go all the way !!!
