Right. That's the humor. Here are amazing things that everyone says you should do before you die, but here's an everyday dude who does them and winds up hating most of it. Part of you is jealous because you're thinking about how you'd love to do some of these things and here he is doing them and not appreciating them. But then some of his objections make sense and you do find yourself thinking that, yea, maybe that's not all it's cracked up to be. That's why I'm not quick to say he's dumb.
Home with a sick daughter today. While she sleeps, some serious 80's cheese, Red Dawn on AMC. If you watch closely, when Jennifer Grey's character dies you can see her career going too. WOLVERINES!!!!!
I watched some serious 80's slasher cheese last weekend, too. Slumber Party Massacre is now on Netflix. It's beyond awful and i couldn't stop watching it.

Only if people are likely to be confused. I imagine there are multiple books and magazine articles titled "The Chicago Fire".
Ha! I'm sure it was supposed to be The Aristocats. Probably some schlub that enters TV listings for a living having a little fun (and calling it a typo).
Just watched the season 2 finale of Game of Thrones. So should I expect Rick Grimes in season 3? I havent read the books but i was kinda annoyed by what i saw.
Not as good as season 1. It definitely could have been done differently here and there. They changed up some things that didn't really need to be changed. Book was very good though.
That's just the way the 2nd book went. It begs the question which is one of the overall themes of the book - which war should they really be fighting? Don't worry, there'll be plenty of WTF, you're not supposed to die moments in #3.
I am watching Mad Men on Netflix. I am still in season 1 but I am a little disappointed with it. Everyone said how amazing it was so my expectations were high. Catching up on the last few episodes of Game of Thrones. I enjoy that show. Waiting for Downton Abbey to come back on the air. It's a show I feel like I shouldn't like but somehow do. PBS isn't geared to the mid 20's male audience but Downton Abbey has pulled me in.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks that about Mad Men. Major snorefest... although, looking at January Jones was nice... I just started watching the first season of The Killing... through two episodes... very gripping.
I just finished watching the 4 seasons of Mad Men on Netflix and thought it was great. I'm now on to watching Breaking Bad. I'm liking the show but Walt's wife is pretty freaking annoying.
I liked Breaking Bad for the first 2/2.5 season then it wore me down. I couldnt continue watching it because seeing the human being being corrupted so far made me not enjoy the show.
Just watched the movie Gummo. There were some disturbing parts but not half as bad as I was expecting.
The Thick of It from BBC, probably one of my favorites shows of all time. Streaming on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Episode-1/dp/B007WPMCOI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1340993879&sr=8-1&keywords=the thick of it HBO's VEEP is the American answer to The Thick of It (same premise, writers, Producers, etc) and they also did a movie, In the Loop. VEEP was good but doesnt come close. You can watch most of it on YouTube. Language is NSFW.
I like anti-hero shows like Breaking Bad and Dexter. Personally, I can't wait until season 5 to see how it ends.
My wife and I saw Beasts of the Southern Wild on Friday night. Afterwards, my wife's back hurt from trying so hard, and for so long, at holding back tears and she was only moderately successful. The trailer is a little deceiving. It definitely sticks in your craw.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/07/11/arrested-development-on-netflix-ron-howard_n_1664392.html Season 4. Leading into a movie! Color me excited!
I can't believe AMC dropped The Killing although I'm not sure where the story would have went after the 2nd season.
