After winning in the Carling Cup last Tuesday against Bournemouth, we had a disappointing return to Premier League action with a l1-0 oss to Midlands rivals Stoke City. In a match where Albion dominated much of the possession and created more quality chances to score, we let Stoke score a late, late goal when Ben Foster and Gabriel Tamas completely misplayed a ball lobbed back into the Baggies penalty area allowing Ryan Shotton to simply pick up and tap the ball into the empty goal. We always have a miserable time against Stoke, but the Potters are well and truly our bogey team. And they've extended our miserable start to the season. We've got to do better with our opportunities to score.
