Discussion in 'Manchester United' started by Father Ted, Sep 2, 2013.
I started a new Fellaini thread (credit to FT for the image).
I know our board is better than the last incarnation. As angry as many of us are, he didn't set his price tag and should not be held responsible for that. In fact, he did all he could to assist us in forcing this through including a transfer request.
We deserves our support, respect and a reasonable chance to become a valuable member of this squad.
Trolling will not be tolerated.
And for the regulars, please keep it respectful among yourselves.
His problem is he isnt good enough, he deserves as much respect as Ashley Young does, he is a nothing player, a drain on resource and an awfully hard player to shift, there is a reason he keeps staying at Everton till his manager hits a lottery and decides to share it with his pals.
If you are not good enough you are not good enough and dont deserve at be at Man Utd we are not a pawn shop at the end of the road we are Man Utd and not just anyone deserve to be playing for us, we have already too many passengers, we cant afford another one.
Another player I won't be able to offload in FM ;(
******** this party line bull shit.
He isn't MUQ. Just because our midfield is full of dross doesn't make him good enough. ********ing pathetic. And ******** Moyes and Woodward for the last 3 months.
And we didnt sign Herrera for this freak.
I should have put this in the frustrations thread, sorry James.
Please keep this talk on topic: FELLAINI
Last warning or I will continue to send out infractions. I know everyone is frustrated with mgmt today and rightly so, but I have set up threads to deal with that.
I'm not going to tolerate anymore attacks on the MODs on this board. We put in a lot of time keeping this place ticking over with little to no appreciation.
This thread is for Fellaini discussion only, positive and negative.
oh for fcuk's sake it is a g-ddamn discussion forum not a presidential debate. lighten up.
besides it is time we start realizing that the shine that was once MUFC is no longer there.
see, we signed Felliani (there I worked his name in the post. does that mean I am on topic??)
Before you jump to conclusions, I deleted some posts you did not see.
Again, please keep this thread on topic about Fellaini.
Aww crap, James I apologize for the above post. I really do. This is the best board on this forum (or is it the best forum on this board)
You (mods) and the other legacy posters do a good job of making it so and I genuinely appreciate that.
So once again pardon my obvious rudeness.
I for one am happy and welcome our new Belgian overlord.
U MAD? *Headbutts the haters*
Remember when you all used to laugh at RAWK and Liverpool fans for being lunatics?
That's what this board looks like. You know how long we've given the manager? Three games. Three. He beat Swansea, tied Chelsea (who are the ONLY team to have an advantage against us head to head), and lost to Liverpool (who are our oldest/biggest rival). Yet, hey, let's get him out.
I do believe Woodward is a ponce. He is a banker by trade, so I am making the stop-gap assumption that he is a money grabbing prick - which is what I felt all along. I think he will need to go, soon, as he is way out of his depth with this job. I think, in part, that he even led Moyes on during discussions as to how they were going. He was in our commercial department before, and he is coined with having driven our commercial success - so in that regard, he is extremely confident of the name "Manchester United" being enough to get his way. He tried to use standard business practices and negotiation techniques in a market and system that is extremely unique to those methods.
interestingly I am not against the guy, but seeing his pic just now angered me.
wished he could have been brought here under different circumstances.
But all joking aside, I'll just hope this dude works hard as ******** and helps the team. I actually feel bad for him since I predict he's going to have a really shitty time here if things don't happen to fall into place for Moyes. He looks super ********ing proud to be wearing that shirt.
Good luck Marouane, hope you make me eat my words about how you're not MUQ.
Even more editing... James is busy tonight.
Welcome. Now you need to prove you are worth it Sideshow Bob.
Nice to see some strong modding getting done.
At least in the next game we can throw him forward and start punting long balls.
Not good enough imho.
This has just been depressing.
Hope he works hard and contributes, proving the majority of us wrong, but I'm not holding my breath
The hate on Fellaini would have been considerably less had we landed Herrera....Its a shame that he comes in under the circumstances that he has.....He adds another body in midfield and would relegate Cleverley to the bench....He's here now....
He would need to be convincing a lot of people (including me) that he's good enough to play for this....The fact that we made him hand in a transfer request tells you what a cluster fuck of a window this has been.....
The level of hate directed at him is rather absurd imho.
Seems like only way Moyes could get more grief is if he strangled a puppy on live TV.
Fellaini is perhaps not a perfect fit, but he is not as shit as you all make him out to be.
Also, where was all this "I cannot believe we wasted so much money on a guy not good enough for us!" rage when you burned 7.5 M on Bébé? Even if Fellaini is a bust, he'll still contribute about 100x more than that guy.
Separate names with a comma.
