DiBernardo is going to be more a factor in this league than I originally thought. I was worried she was a tweener...not fast enough to play outside and not feisty enough to play inside. She looked pretty feisty against WNY.
Well Ive watched it a few times and I still dont think it was deliberate. They arent giving red cards for abusing someones shirt (unless they want a 5 on 5 league) and I dont think the forearm was intended. Generally u get sent off for deliberate violence like Rapinoe's retaliation against Avant. If I had a gripe with Lloyd on the play it would be more about the violence involved with throwing her to the ground than anything she did with her arm. It certainly went beyond a shirt tug.
