Well whoever UNC plays in the finals, they're gonna have to play better than they played tonight. Way too many double turnovers from the defensive midfielders and got lucky from the handball in the box.

In the Big South semis, Coastal Carolina beats High Point 2-1. Ricky "The Beaner" Garbanzo scores the game-winner and Pedro Riberio has a goal and an assist.

    Mamadee Nyepon's 13th was High Point's goal.

Coastal is 18-1-2 and will play the winner of Winthrop-Radford, being played now, in the final. High Point is 12-6-3 and with an RPI of 73 their season is likely done.

Creighton (14-3-2) needed OT to get past Drake in the Missouri Valley semis. Eric Miller had a goal and an assist.

They face the winner of Southern Illinois-Edwardsville and Central Arkansas.

AFA finally finding some opportunities in the 2nd half making things interesting and then in 69th minute Bakersfield's Lucas Dall'Orso receives a straight red for violent tackle. Bakersfield still up 1-0

If they advance, they'll miss him in the final. He's been a good playmaker for them this season.

In a Conference USA semi, Kentucky and SMU are in PKs after a 2-2 draw.

EDIT - SMU wins the shootout 3-1. They advance to the final to face Tulsa or UAB.

Kentucky is 10-8-2 with a 38 RPI, SMU is 10-4-4 with an RPI of 20.

At the end of the "1st quarter" otherwise known as the TV timeout, Notre Dame leads UConn 1-0 behind a Dillon Powers goal. Notre Dame has been taking it to the Huskies and that's before Ryan Finley has even taken the field.

LOL - Tevor Wade of AFA now shown a straight red and the teams are playing with 10 a piece with 14 to play and still tied at 1

In the CAA semis, Northeastern got a pair of braces from Conner Alexander and Don Anding and a goal and an assist from Donovan Fayd as they beat the crap out of James Madison 5-0.

Northeastern is 12-2-4 with a 28 RPI; JMU is 9-7-3 with a 44 RPI that probably has them on the wrong side of the bubble.

Northeastern advances to face Drexel or Hofstra.

Funny..." Big East Central" on PC has UConn leading 1-0, and team members also switched. Some of those following from a distance in for a let down..Yikes...Can't a man get a drink around here!

Clemson takes it's 1-0 lead into HT in what Sasho just called Maryland's worst half of the year. We'll see what he has in store for them in the locker room.

For the second straight game, VCU gets another late goal from Mario Herrera Meraz, this one to help them beat host Charlotte 1-0 in the A10 semis. The Rams (12-2-5) advance to face SLU.

Charlotte is 14-3-3 with an RPI of 12 as of this morning so while they'll get a bid, this loss may have cost them a bye.

Notre Dame closes out UConn 1-0. UConn never had any real strong chances.

Connecticut (15-3-1) will await to see how many home games their RPI - currently 6 - will get them.
