Meh that's what happens when you take your foot off the pedal. I honestly don't know why Cruz Azul stopped attacking. Had they kept playing how they finished the first half this game would have been set and match. Nomas se complican ellos mismos. Oh btw, Monterrey and their fans can both blow me
That's just it... I don't have a doubt that we can put 3 past them at home... scoring is not the problem, the problem is holding the lead. Los cambios que hizo Meza la cago todo... eso y no sacar a Lozano, todas las jugadas llegaron por la derecha y ese guey ya esta bien ruco... I don't think I can take another failure.
Debio sacar a Lozano en el segundo tiempo Y dejar a Villaluz en la banca. Que chingaos le ven a Villaluz? The guys is pushed off the ball every single time and can't dribble to save his life.
i wouldn't get an infraction for this would i? [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-m-C-xSNmk"]YouTube- Cruz Azul Subcampeonisimos[/ame]
I know recriminations at this stage are pointless. But here goes. The defense has sucked all season and stuff like that catches up with you. I really thought these guys could shake off the loss at Monterrey and come out for a do or die battle but they failed miserably. They basically lost this series after the first leg because they sure as hell played with an exceedingly poor demeanor the entire 90 minutes. Guys like Lozano and Pinto played like crap. But whatever. I would like to know why Meza decided to start Mario Ortiz up front for these final games? Here's a guy who started about 5 games the whole year and only once after week 13. Orozco is no world beater but he's way more dangerous up front than Ortiz and could have helped to give Monterrey something else to worry about other than Villa. Is Orozco only good for about 20 minutes per game ? Couldn't Zeballos have worked better ? You figure if you're down a goal, throw everything from the first minute toward the attack, especially at home. This one is going to bother me for a while as I can find no logic for this move at all. Other notes - Villaluz needs to go. I was all for him getting a second look from Meza this year but I think he's proven he doesn't work in these types of games. Maybe Emilio Hernandez will take over this role. If you're going to opt for Ortiz up front over guys like Zeballos, then Zeballos' days with Cruz Azul are numbered as well. The writing is on the wall. Still praying they dump Melvin Brown....again. Ditto Huiqui. Although I'll admit he had a good game vs. Puebla in the second leg. Ramon Nunez = ?. Why did we get this guy again ? Do we really need to waste a foreign spot here ? Anyways, now maybe they'll try to get some help for the defense. Going into hibernation for a while.
