I was quick to call this gay when it was first suggested, but it actually does fit well, and would probably sound good with a lot of people singing it, not to mention that most people, whether they admit it or not, already know the lyrics. At the very least, it's manlier than "you'll never walk alone."
I have to agree after hearing Yellow I thought it fit very well. It describes the passion that we as fans have for the Crew.
Has anybody tryed to talk to the front office to have them put the words up on the screen or to pass them out before the game? It would be nice to sing Yellow as the teams march out on the field on the 8th of November. That would be a beautiful sight seeing all of those black and gold scarves and singing Yellow. It would be a truly Massive welcome.
I would love to be able to sing this as the teams come out, but considering the league spent an ass ton of money on the league anthem for the teams to enter the field to, I doubt that it will fly at that time.
someone was singing this sweet little piece that Lenhart came up with last night. I will try to find out what it was but it was a kick ass tune. All I know it had to deal with wearing Addias at the end.
your right we want to be nothing like europe we should go back to having shoot outs from 30 yards out and i don't think we should sing and chant during the games we should just chant defense maybe the crewzerss lead all the cheering

Wow, not sure what to say here. I made light of the fact that you said "all the other teams in Europe...". Do you honestly not understand? Yep, that means I want to do a hockey style shootout instead of allowing ties. Apparently that's how the rest of the non-european soccer playing world does it. So I think we should too.
OK maybe I can help here....AHEM. I think we should be allowed to sing the Moldavian national Anthem...I mean really!!! If there is one thing I cannot stand it's when Don Garber is trying to act like Tina Fey. I mean come on leave George Bush alone. If there is a team anywhere in the world that adopted "Afternoon Delight" as their song, I would buy that jersey instantly. Since Houston has the whole NASA connection, maybe they could make it work? I'm all for "Yellow" by Coldplay. I think it would be cool if they played it over the loudspeakers as the team comes over to the Nordecke and bows. We could all hold up our scarves and sing.
