Isn't it only a couple of days ago he was having a go at the FFA for its handling of the situation? Maybe someone got in his ear.

I think there's no problem is holding the views that "the FFA overreacted to Gold Coast situation and probably shouldn't piss people like Palmer off" and "Palmer's idea is a complete load of bollocks" at the same time.

Palmer does have some points somewhere especially in regards to an idependent A-league and treatment of owners - especially Tinkler.

If A-League clubs are dependent on the wallets of owners than these owners should be made to feel appreciated.

Palmer has gone to far and obviously has a high opinion of his ability to throw his weight around from the Joh Bjelke-Peterson days.

    He's lost it completely.

I wonder if welding is the only change he will make? What about putting more lifeboats in??? Has he even seen Titanic 3D?

Once in parliament, Clive is likely to be swiftly promoted into the ministry, probably as the Minister for Sport, where it is expected that his first decisions will relate to the salaries of the 5 highest paid executives of FFA, probably reducing them to $0, and installing FA as the new governing body.

Those additional liferafts will not be required on Titanic II. Though it will have a nameplate capacity of 8000 berths, it is expected that lack of demand will force Commodore Palmer to cap travellers to 3,000 and keep the far side completely empty as a cost-saving measure.
