    Some funny stuff there.

This is a tricky question -

Yes, it's a conspiracy theory because of that single word "intentionally," which (sorry fellow Dems) makes the answer No. Bush and Cheney didn't have a clue.

But that's a mighty fine line, very different than thinking that reptiles run the world or the CIA distributes crack.

About 5% go for the Paul is dead/the world is ruled by reptiles theories. Probably the same 5% in each case.

Considerably more think Barack is the Anti Christ.

Asstards. The CIA runs the world and thus supervises reptilian control of the crack trade.

Disagree. There are five specific reasons for my belief that the entire causus belli was a canard to launch a war the neo-cons had been advocating for at least a decade.

    1) The Downing Street Memos.
    2) Douglas Feith's creepy little basement office.
    3) Nigerian Yellowcake.
    4) Valerie Plame.
    5) Freedom Fries.

    Freedom Fries?

Well you're not going to sell me here. My experience tells me that people are far more confused than is commonly supposed, and far less scheming. By and large, they believe their own nonsense.

Freedom Fries is the ridicule of the rational dissenting voice.

I disagree with you. If they really thought there were WMDs, then how do you explain the war plan?

Well, the 9/11 was an inside job and Bush knew about it.

    Is that a bipartisan conspiracy?

what I am willing to say, they were clearly hoping to find something or anything...but in failing to find any WMD evidence I don't think that they lost any sleep over the issue.

I think this probably comes the closest to the W administration's way of thinking about WMDs. while we never found any WMDs, as you will recall, Saddam went out of his way to act like he had WMDs and was hiding them. moving them from place to place, always one step ahead of the weapons inspectors. now maybe he was just doing it to fuck with them (and the international community), but it sure seemed to send the message that he actually had something to hide.

I read somewhere at one time (can't remember when or where) that the Rothchilds had a significant stake in both Blackwater and Haliburton.

Then they're very stupid, because the W/Cheney administration will be remembered for that very thing. Fifty years from now, the one thing a schoolkid will know about Bush II is that he led the U.S. into a costly and unjust war.
