i hope so. but i can see us dropping points in Honduras. it's high time though that we finally get a win there! 6:30 PM Pacific
Thanks, same to you. While I think we should not have trouble getting the 3 points, I don't expect this to be easy. Even having won all of our previous matches, the team did not really look like a fine tuned machine. I think our attacking third didn't have a spectacular run (out side of the 5-0 trashing of Guyana). I don't remember numbers but I think there were 1 or 2 O.G.'s and 4 or more goals scored by our D and D-mid. But who knows maybe the kids surprise me and they make this look nice and easy. /p
Honestly, I don't think you should have much trouble with Jamaica at home. If the team doesn't take them seriously or thinks the game is going to be easy, then maybe.
We had 3 scoreless first halfs out of 4 games, against what is arguably weaker opponents in ES and Guyana. Against ES and CRC at home we had scoreless first halfs, just saying, we won all games, but it is not the steamrolling spectacles from the 90's and such. /p
Mentally, Tactically & Discipline wise yes.... but anything can happen in any match. Some of the CONCACAF teams have quality attackers.. they could come out on a good day & score on half chances that normally would be missed and change the outcome of the match.
Rough. Well our game against them basically saw us trying to break the woodwork for most of the game and Jamaica probably had one shot on goal. We finally got a lucky free kick late in the game to win, but territorially the game wasn't close.

Vamos Honduras chingao!!!
Pretty important game today. Not only is it the start of the hex but I will see if we finally get rid of the Azteca funk we have had since Chepo came on. Hopefully it improves and Jamaica is one of the teams who the Azteca weighs on more. Still the fact the euros only came in for 3 days, it's good that this is the rival for our first game since we have the least time preparing for it.
