Seems like everybody but Mexico are figuring out the US, the "Jack Warners" bunker like little sissies, play a 9-1 formation, get some help from the ref and tie 0-0 to keep a glimmer of hope alive.

I thought the ref was excellent, the best I've seen from a Concacaf ref. The US didn't get the three points because Bradley clearly doesn't get it, but we should get the win next Wednesday.

Umm... he's not talking about the El Salvador game he's making a prediction for the T&T game. You know, the match this thread is about? He's predicting help from the ref for T&T in the future game. The ref is Archundia again, is it?

    3-1 US is my prediction

    Jumping on for the ride.

The home game for the US should be a different story from the weekend, but you never know. We definitely need to come out with a different outlook than we did in ES...

The USA will have home field and be hungry, the players will be rested and ready. They will have to worry about T&T's counter.

I hope Jozy starts, he looked pretty good and BB should had learn his lesson, you can't field the same team or use the same tactics in every single game.

http://www.ussoccer.com/articles/viewArticle.jsp_13533192.html says Trinidad and Tobago has 22 players to choose from with as many goalkeepers as defenders (4 of each) despite the fact that a team normally starts 4 defenders and never starts more than 1 goalkeeper. Why do they have that many goalkeepers on the roster?

Goalkeeper Phillip is injured. and the took young Samuel along to gain some experience (he is our U-20 keeper). midfielders Wolfe and Pacheco also play defence. Wolfe will start at Right back tomorrow. Looks like both our defensive midfielders (Birchall and Leon)will start tomorrow.

    GO WARRIORS GO.

It's not beyond the realm of possibility that T&T could get a result, but it isn't very likely. They are going up against a very pissed off US team that has something to prove.

I think USA will come out with all guns blazing. That is why T&T starts with two defensive mids. Weather the early storm and maybe bring on Hyland and Scotland to try to win it.

    GO WARRIORS GO

I hope we start Altidore from the get go. He gave the T&T defense fits last time he played against them and is far better than Brian Ching.

He is on the roster, but is buried pretty deep on the depth chart. He has only recently returned to decent form after about a year of sucking. I highly doubt he'll play tomorrow unless we're up 3-0.

Altidore does something that Ching does not almost everytime he's on the field. He scores.

If Jozy doesn't start tonight I'll be very disappointed. Ching couldn't do much of anything on Saturday despite the size advantage, though he didn't get much service. Jozy's speed and size are an obvious factor and its time he's starting.

Hopefully T&T go out with the attitude that we have nothing to lose (cuz we don't) and we actually attack the US at some point in the game, preferably b4 being down. I can't stand how we play defensively in these games. What's the point if we still loose, at least if we play aggresively we have our pride and a chance to get a result.

yeah, but then you risk the goleada.

stay with the bunker, makes for an exciting game, especially vs the US. ;)

I'm gonna say they picked a very suspicious date for such an announcement...
