Does it matter? 90 degrees is 90 degrees. Yes, the sun may not be as much of an issue if its overcast, but, 90 degrees is 90 degrees. You know what he meant.

Carlos Vela started at Honduras in 2009. Along with Nery Castillo who showed him how to score.

No, that was Salcido. Vela played 4 matches now that I remember he was pretty useless other than when he played in the 4-1 against El Salvador last time.

Yes you are right it would be a factor, but not much of an impact as it had on the US team. Unlike them, we have a week to train and also cities that have similar weather as SPS.

Toluca and Mexico City never get hot, even during the afternoon. But its really hot in other parts of the country. I am sure you know that in Monterrey the weather is normally around 36-40 degrees during summer. However it is more of a dry heat and not humid. I remember when Tigres used to play at 5:00pm, the players used to complain alot.

More of a 4-3-2-1, or could be a 4-2-3-1 with either Jonathan or Herrera moving up with Gio and Vela, and 2 staying back as DM.

Not that this would happen, but I would like to see it.

Yes we have Tuxtla and Cancun but it's like we didn't have them since we never play at those hours there. It will be tough although I still think we have what it takes to pull it off. But the heat will be a factor.

    442 is dead
    451 is boring mourihno style
433 we don't have the FBs
    352/532 been there done that

4231 is where it's at!!! this works for us especially with guardado at LB. to me this is modern football and we have the players/depth for it. the nice thing is each position has plenty of depth.

    FIFA lineup-

    I.Jimenez----Reyes---Moreno----Guardado
    ------------Zavala----Chaton-------------
    -----------------Herrera-------------------
    --------Gio----------------Vela-----------
    --------------Chicharo----------------

^I posted the same formation and almost the same squad in another thread, Mier in place of Jimenez and Jonathan in place of Zavala. I agree I think this formation would work best for us, I wouldn't be against giving 433 a try though.

As much as I want Vela on the team, people need to stop putting him in their hypothetical line ups. Seriously. I get it, we all want him to play, BUT, he has refused to play for quite some time now, so until he accepts, leave him off and assume (worst case scenario) he is not coming back.
That said, holy crap would our team look good on paper:thumbsup:

Thats why they are "What would I Like" line ups. Whats the point of realistic line ups when Chepo uses the same line-up, players, tactics everytime.

If chepo is going to use the 442, I would rather have Aldo in there instead of Peralta.

I feel like peralta and Cheech just get in each others way
Cheech and Aldo worked better in the Gold Cup
