Tough loss in the first game, hopefully they can rebound in the matinee game today.

Watching the NHL playoffs and I see they really don't enforce head shots anymore. Sad!

    It's a bit of a joke.

Kind of like the kid who gets busted drinking and driving. He does the community service, goes to the classes and does the AA thing. Then when prom comes around, well you know... it's prom!

Head shots only cause brain trauma in the regular season.

Washington defeats the defending champions in overtime of a monumental seven game series!

    Okay, who's next? :)

Tough to say with only two series decided

    #7 Caps
    #4 Flyers

    Rangers win and its Caps-Rangers

    Senators and Panthers win Caps-Flyers

    Senators and Devils win Caps-Devils

The matchup I was hoping for:

    Washington vs New York

It should be a great series!

Tough loss for the Capitals, but they did lose the first game in Boston.

Holtby was mediocre yesterday, hopefully he can rebound.

Interesting to see the 2010 World Junior reunion out there.

    John Carlson
    Derek Stepan
    Chris Kreider

All three were on the ice for Carlson's golden goal.

1-2 now. Ughhh. I'm still recovering from last night's game.

    That was a tough loss!

I wonder if there will be a lot of changes to the roster?

From reading all the articles (and reading between the lines), it looks like there may be some issues here in Washington, which does not bode well for the future of the Capitals...

Team seems to be a bit of a mess. Honestly as much as I love Ovechkin, he seems to be sort of a microcosm of all their issues. It was funny to listen to the pundits just gush over him actually playing defense and blocking shots. Frankly, I don't want a $10 million checking line winger, I want a goal scorer and a game breaker. He simple wasn't.
