Not a good site to see, Le Toux setup Henry's goal today. I really can't stand to see Le Toux in that ugly kit of theirs.

I honestly have a hard time seeing how LeToux would be detriment in the current system. I see McInerney playing a very similar role as LeToux in the sense that he pushes the line and pressures the ball. That ship has sadly sailed however. I think he will do well for RedBull.

It's an interesting article. I think I would put DeRossario in the same category as Donovan though. DeRosarrio has the misfortune of being Canadian and not as accomplished internationally. LeToux is a tweener player though. I would contend his marketing value in Philly was worth more but he definitely isn't an Henry or Donovan. The thing is, the Soumare signing is nice, but he hasn't played yet and we are half way through the season. That would have been more palatable had a big signing been made immediately. Instead we sat, and it seems we still sit on, a giant pile of monopoly money.

To me, situations like LeToux' is where MLS fails. The league needs players like him to maintain quality, depth, bridge the gap between DPs and the lower quality guys, and to help youngsters grow. Like a growing enconomy, a league needs a thriving middle and upper middle class to be successful.

By the way, what a ridiculous start time for a midweek game. It's just asking NY to show up with even less fans than typical.

It hurts less now, but I still do miss Le Toux.

Daily News: A lot of changes have been made since you left. The biggest is Peter Nowak being sacked as team manager. What are your thoughts on this move and where the team has evolved since?

Le Toux: Right now, I am kind of a fan when I look at that situation. Obviously, since Peter has left, the team has been able to find success and that's good for Philly and those fans who deserve to watch a good team. You can see that since the move, this team has had more energy and a rhythm that has provided them with some good games. I don't want to get too much into it, but I think it was the perfect thing to do.

Perfect thing to do- Amen to that Seba :)
