Who should we take 7th overall? I'm partial to bringing back C. Rod/Leyva on cheaper contracts, but I'd throw my hat in the ring for any of Solli, Tainio, Gomez, and Zapata.

Would think picking backups who never got a chance from strong teams or players who looked worse than they were because they were on a woeful team. FYI these teams had the most - NY Red Bulls - 8, FC Dallas - 5 , New England - 4, KC -4, Toronto -4. Of the last four playoff teams - LA, Houston and DC have none on the list and San Jose has 1.

Well, I guess they have other plans in mind. Any of the Dallas players get picked up by other teams?

I think they were still at the point where you had to keep them on their old contracts. Many of these players have some value, it's just a lot less than they're currently making.
