    Not good enough.

I hate to say it but it feels like we are slowly giving up on the academy. Hardly recruiting any of the more hyped 14/15 year olds anymore.

i think part of it is a lot of these kids don't actually transition into superstars at the senior level nowadays.

it's felt like we gave up years ago to me personally

Very very few top teams havent. The way forward is the same way chelsea do business imo. For young players at least.

I think we'd need the right manager in, but I actually think he'd be okay in CM. If you are very good on the ball and have a decent motor, next to a great CM or as part of a CM trio you can do damage or a good job even if you aren't the most rounded CM (yet).

Examples of this are all over, but just look at Osman and Henderson or even Rosicky.

This was the team that beat Totteham, with another Wilson cracker 1-0

Amos; Varela (Weir 20), Ekangamene, Weir, James; Janko, Pearson, Rothwell, A.Pereira, Rowley (Harrop 78); Wilson.

It amazes me that Varela is still around but has seen zero game time despite our defensive injuries. If he is deemed not ready at 21 why are we all wasting our time?

I think he lost his father and went back to SA for a little bit. That, along with Moyes taking over probably really pushed back his progress. Also, he's not very big.

Of course, I dont expect you to sympathize. :D

That phrase "theater of dreams" has always thrilled me. To ruin that phrase, dashes all my dreams and excitement about MUFC.

Interesting because that's how I feel about the club with moyes in charge. Hopefully that changes. Soon.

Yes, it's been the theater of nightmares this season, but hallelujah, no longer. Without Moyes, we can dare to dream again.

No he isn't. He played once in the past 4 weeks. Barely on the bench unfortunately.

Tom Lawrence is growing into a good player. Good winger, maybe we can bump him up a bit after getting rid of Valencia and Young.

Robbie Brady 2.0. Speaking of which, is he still injured?

Looks like Will Keane is out in the Summer if he doesn't sign a new deal :(

Lingard and Lawrence both start for their respective teams in Brighton vs. Yeovil tonight.

Lingard got a goal and was named Sky's MOTM.

Lawrence had a lively start, but picked up a knock and then just his performance dropped off till being substituted 2nd half.

Seems Joel Pereira has overtaken rest of GK's to train with the first team early pretty regularly already.

    Impressive at 17.
