Wilson is a player. Any relation to the Giggs clan?

Kiko has been very efficient in his short time with the Brummies. Does anyone have details on how Thorpe has done lately?

Flawed argument. Rossi couldn't get time for Newcastle. A player not getting PT at a lesser club doesn't mean he cannot contribute at a greater club.

Right now Nani can't get PT at United. Put him in a better team and he'd probably shine.

Zaha is a lot worse than Nani or Rossi who had prodigious youth careers.

wrt Wilson, as I said in the other thread, keeping Young and Valencia next season while we could blood Wilson in is criminal.

If Nani's in the dungeon then Zaha is in the catacombs. Such a raw, unpredictable player will never get the coaching he needs with the current garbage coaching setup.

The point I was making was it is about how/if you use a player. Rossi for all his prodigious talent got nary a kick at Neecastle. Nani hasn't got a shot under Moyes. I'm also not saying that Zaha is as good as them. He isn't. The point I'm making is that not fitting in or not getting PT at a shit team doesn't mean you aren't good.

of course, I know that and it is a valid point. I think we should be aiming a bit higher than Zaha though when looking at projects.

Wilson is a striker. Should blood him there only or get him a good loan.

Don't get what Valencia, Nani or Young have got to do with it.

Wonder if Cheech moves on will he be ready to take that 4th striker spot next season ? Will Keane and Henriquez there too though they have had there injury problems.

It was Will vs Michael Keane today in the championship as they squared off.

    Lingard got a goal.

Wilson will play in the senior team as a wingforward.

Imagine so. A lot of our attacking youngsters have started out wide, as it grants them a bit more freedom.

It also removes them somewhat from the kick anything that moves type of central defender the likes of Stoke have.

Wilson can play as a Wing forward in a front 3 type of system at best. Not sure at all about him adapting as a Winger in our current setup.

He wasn't even that great playing wide in the u18's on few occasions and hasn't played anything except ST so far at a level above that.

It will make it all the sweeter when he comes on to score the winner (from a Maloney assist).

Petrucci will almost certainly leave in the summer. Macheda will too as his contract is up.

Will Keane's loan not going well either sadly after his injury hasn't gotten to his best.

Michael Keane at RB and Lingard doing well though. Powell's loan has gone well, though finding it tough to return back after injury.

Blackett is doing alright too and Tom Thorpe now getting some PT.

Oh, btw it seems Nick Ioannau has not been offered a contract by the club. Bit weird that as he was so promising at 16 and then had injuries last season and now has stagnated.

But still is a surprise as he was doing well recently.

Read a rumor that Powell might go on loan to Everton next season.

Unless they plan on playing him in central midfield or changing to 433 don't see how that fits with Barkley and Osman there.

Speaking of Powell, I don't see where he fits into the team. Hre basically being played as a striker or support striker. Not gonna get that here. Doesn't look like he has the mentality to play central mid, even though he has the ability. He's an attacker.

How do Thorpe and Keane stack up in terms of ability? I haven't seen Thorpe play very much tbf, but really hope Keane can get in on the action next season like when we eased Evans in. Maybe a PL loan too.
