FWIW, that whole TV production in Edmonton was a disaster. Zoomed-out cameras, clueless announcers and full-frame Twitter pics during play, not to mention "hey, let's point the mics at the crowd and boost the volume, so we hear every individual scream"...
To be honest it was pretty cool to hear the 2-3 Montreal fans totally dominating the soundscape with Montréal Allé allé
That shouldn't have been a PK at the end. And Bernier came VERY close to coming to a complete stop on his run up to the ball as well. Didn't start watching till late.
Looks like Saputo was yelling "avanculo!" to the fce coach The ref gifted the game for one reason only: So that Vancouver would not win the Cup easily. Gotta keep the curse going... The good news is this is the last time the ACC will conflict with the NHL playoffs.
Seriously, that was one of the worst decisions I've ever seen. Edmonton player literally has his hands behind his back. I hope that ref loses all his money in a pyramid scheme. Then his wife leaves him for his high school nemesis. Then his son starts to call that guy dad instead of him. Then when he finally gets some money together and looks to be back on his feet and finds a new girl. However, his bank account gets hacked. And the bank then tells him he's at fault, and then point to the previous experience with the pyramid scheme. Seriously, that was the single worst call in the history of soccer that did not take place in Korea.
Considering the team's jerseys (who they resemble) and their owner, it's no surprise that we just witnessed match-fixing.
