Sorry in Dutch: http://www.elfvoetbal.nl/nieuws/109...onderdag-nieuwe-spelers-te-kunnen-presenteren Today Vitesse will (probably) present two new players! I'm eager to know which way this is going!
to entertain fcgrunn even more, what kind of surprised me is that months before the new owner took over, they had already signed a talented italian defender on loan from inter milan. makes me wonder if moratti is in this somehow. jordania, abramovich & moratti may as well be the new holy trinity of european footie where's the illuminati when you need them eh?
Probably that boy from the Barcelona youth academy they talked about. We're playing Vitesse this weekend. With the plan of bringing them back to earth.
I don't have time to look into this myself right now but I found these two links that might be interesting: http://soccerlens.com/the-football-debt-league-top-10-most-indebted-clubs/50035/ http://soccerlens.com/united-to-sell-stars-stadium-for-debt-servicing/6901/
has been released by barca, not deemed good enough anymore. elfvoetbal mentions 17 year old barca wunderkind giorgi chanturia has already signed for vitesse.
There's a lot of stuff in that thread (much of it from me). I've been tracking the sordid recent history of all this and it's a pathetic story. I'm constantly amazed at how the Spanish banks continue to bail out Madrid and Barca but let the other teams flounder (most notably Valencia). Other than Schalke and maybe Dortmund, the Bundesliga teams are in the best financial position of major Euro leagues. If the English league did not generate such huge television revenues, it would sink faster than the Titanic. A lot of clubs only have positive cash flow because of television (or sugar daddy owners like Chelsea and ManCity). Liverpool faces a hostile takeover now that the two American owners don't have any money to indulge their plaything. It's all too pathetic.
No he hasn't. Dutch clubs aren't allowed to contract non-EU under 18s. It's pretty funny that they forgot that rule hehehe. It's going well at Vitesse so far. They said they would present new players within two days and those two days are now gone. No-one's appeared so far and the only player they thought they contracted isn't licensed to play. Happy days.
http://www.elfvoetbal.nl/nieuws/110023_vitesse-heeft-rajkovic-en-matic-definitief-binnen Matic and Rajkovic now at Vitesse. (Is Pantelic still without club? Oh dear, the market is in dire straits isn't it?)
Matic is massive for a midfielder! Any updates on Aissati? They already have him on loan according to the all knowing wikipage...
