    Great save by Given....

Villa are the ultimate in anti-football, defend constantly and hope to fluke something at the other end.

The way Spurs are playing, they need to send 2 or 3 down the right. That happens and a goal follows.

Halftime sub, Parker for Walker. Spurs really need to control the middle.

Ade getting the ball poked away much too easily. he's been in some good positions but losing the ball before anything materializes

Massive 2nd half. Need to get Ade more involved and Bale needs to stay wide left.

Villa will carry on parking the bus, looking like a hell of a task to crack them open let alone get it past Given.

    it gets worse

    rose gets red

now spurs have to score twice short a man

tbh, spurs probly would be better off without their wide backs today. both have played poorly

Not sure that should have been a red. A yellow certainly...

And this is not how a wide-back should be removed.

vdv has been about the only player with his head in the match, i'd keep him in personally

Villa are playing much more forward after the red. They might give up another goal.

Hmm not bringing JD on now.

We'll need him soon, just for the fresh legs.
