Yes the old debate about the different leagues.

The premier league is now the benchmark, but they all have different attributes. I find serie a and the Bundesliga the most boring of the leagues I have watched... Bar the A league.... zzzzz

I watched Boca Juniors play in December. Man talk about passionate futbol and crowds. Arrrriba!

Considering the last 3 clubs he's been at have all been relegated, then i'd stay away from him. He has to be cursed.

I have to agree with Wezza here the bundesliga has some quite good attacking football and also had the highest crowd attendance's in all of europe in the season that just passed..

Agreed. Im not sure what it is but I've loved what i've seen of the bundesliga. They have a habit of trying to pass the ball into the net.

Man. I got hammered on The Bundesliga comment. I have friends that are German and go for Hamburg and Werder Bremen. They come and watch a few of the games at my place. Maybe I just fire them up about boring tactical strategic football that lacks passion.

I stand corrected (retreats to blue corner)

    Ja das is gut.

    Oh and back on topic.

I hope Dukes hangs around and picks up a decent club. He is fundamental to us doing well.

Kennedy has a while to go and well I just dont rate McDonald. And if I get hammered on that one I am going to come back swinging ;)

He was fundamental to us doing well however as time progresses I see his use to the team changing from an ever-present on-field general, to a behind-the-scenes motivator and teacher of our upcoming attack-minded youth. His wealth of experience is invaluable to us however we must find a replacement (a good, reliable one), quickly and let go of the past in that sense.

Somehow I'm not entirely sure if this would be a good move.

If he is hungry, however...I still do not know.

We won't be playing against the ******** in the World Cup, though. At least not right away.
