Usually I don't agree with you but this time I'm. Ibarbo doesn't fit fo the Ukraine/Russian footbal and he should learn from the bad experience of Juan Escobar, Darwin Quintero, Jose Moreno and Harrison Otalvaro - all of them failed there. He should wait more, stay with the club at least until the Copa America (if he'll get a call) and the sub-20 WC and then he may get a better offers.

I'm all for him not returning to the NT. I don't like his style and despite one or two good games, I've seen him play live and I'm not impressed.

    Re: Victor Ibarbo

he is 20.... had 3 NT games and in 2 he was our best player (US and PEru games) he was 10x better than everyone else on the field for us.... sorry the kid isn't 6'3.

Kiev isn't an awful team and usually plays in Europa or Champions league but his NT future is over if he does go. It will be very hard for him to go to another euro league from there. The Ukrainan league has a crap load of money and doesn't need to sell

Yea. I get pissed most of the times I watch him play. With the amount of talent he has he could be one of our best players.

Until he straightens up his game (which probably won't happen until he leaves Fpc) I don't think he should be called up. He has alot of maturing to do.

he is wanted in Russia and the Ukraine. Both leagues did well for Segundo Castillo who was a little bit like him just with less skill, Ibarbo is a very talented prospect but him ********ing up in the Sub 20 qualifiers and Colombia not making it really hurt his career. I remember hearing Udinese had bought him and nothing ever happened.

    No gustó Ibarbo

    Re: Victor Ibarbo PURAS ZANCADAS

I rarely agree with you Efer, but you're absolutely right on this one.

It's a shame really. That kind of speed and technical ability would make for a world class player if he had half a brain for futbol. I think it's tempting to for Sachi, or any coach for that matter, to show faith in him because the day he starts to figure things out he'll become unstoppable.

That and no other player on the squad can provide that kind of width to free up macnelly.

I don't think Sachi will let those kind of performances go on much longer. Especially not if Cardona, Angelo or Munera continue to take advantage of their minutes.

    Re: Victor Ibarbo PURAS ZANCADAS

he is a player that when he is on he is on and when he is bad he is crap. Much like 90% of Colombian attacking players. Ibarbo was a beast against the USA and he has alot of talent but he needs to leave Nacional, he is not good enough and he will not get better in the Colombian league where we do not discourage this kind of behavior.

Guys like Ibarbo should be sent to the MLS or Argentina to fix some of their problems and lack of Ambition not guys like Montero or Fabian Castillo who are wanted by euro squads.

don't watch Nacional games, usually just watch Copa Lib games and they aren't in it

Just saying he was a beast against the US and another NT we played probably our best player but then the other game he play'd he was total crap. He was being scouted by some Ukrainan team around that time I think. Maybe he is like Tessor Moreno and only plays when Big $$$$ is involved

    Re: Victor Ibarbo

Agree with Efer and MrPaisa. Ibarbo is one of the best players of Nacional in my opinion and one of the best talents of this league. I don't think that he deserves a call for the Copa because there are still few players a head of him, but I have no doubt that he should take in consider for the qualifiers of 2014. If he'll continue like that, he'll find himself abroad in a year or two. Crazy, I suggest you to watch him more in order to post a comment about him, just like my friends here suggested you. Ibarbo is way better then Tressor, much more talented. Yesterday vs. Huila he was one of the best. Wonderful dribbles, move around the pitch all the time, had an assist for Macnelly in the first goal.
