Very Small Rocks 2011/12 Draft is set to commence on 1 August.

Blech, please capture the FPL player database as of midnight tonight and load it on Google Docs.

As Scott is in CDT, I'm expecting that his first pick will be at midnight CDT so we can get in most of Round one before we have to go to work in the morning.

I was told that your first pick was made about an hour ago by email when the system was still down. I have now copied the player current player list (at 8:30 pm pacific time on 7-31). I put back in the 3 letter team definitions now being used on the FPL site and re-sorted the list. The list is sorted first by price (highest to lowest), then by team in alphabetical order, and then by player in alphabetical order.

I've just checked again and there has been no change in the last 45 minutes. In the event my information was incorrect and the first pick hasn't been made yet, please let me know if anyone is aware of any changes that get made in the next few hours. I'll check again myself if I'm still up, but turning in early tonight.

I guess I'll be picking around this time (maybe an hour earlier) tomorrow. Big day ahead and probably won't get online in the evening - as promised.

Expect my double picks every morning, when you should all be safely tucked up in bed.

If the draft gets up and down every day, then we should get this wrapped by Monday or Tuesday at the latest; leaving Wednesday morning for draft adjustments.

Which is just as well, as I'll probably be without Internet for the rest of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning.

One GMT and a few EST people, so I can see that I'll wake up tomorrow and make my #5 pick. See you guys in the morning!
