Flamengo signed Frickson Erazo lol.. He was hot garbage with barcalona last season but he was pretty decent with the Ecuadorian national team the last 4 matches i saw so we will see. He is strong and pretty fast but oh so clumsy..

I have seen very little of him at Barcelona. I don't think he would come to start. Well, at least I hope not. The question is if he's an upgrade over Chicao or Gonzalez.

Last time he had Cicero and Conca in the midfield, he reached the finals.

? (Valencia), Jean, Cicero, Conca; Walter (Sobis?) and Fred.

Good lineup from the midfield on. They still need a better CB to pair with Gum. Gum isn't good enough like a Thiago Silva in his Flu days or Dedé to be able to play with a bad CB like Euzebio.

and what happened in the final? oh yea a loss on penalty's because he couldn't make in game adjustments. People will continue to rate Renato that's fine but his work is lazy and he can't build a team. His tactics with gremio this season pretty much makes my point. They have a young player named Rafinha who saw some time at Volante over Valencia but I think that was more of a Luxa experiment. I expect a huge season from Igor Juliao also.

Pretty disrespectful you'd even consider removing Chicao from the squad. I remember last year around this time everyone was like he's done, time for a small club like Ponte or portuguesa.. Then he went on to have a solid season with the biggest club in brazil and he was a big part of that copa team to say the least. Chicao's better than Wallace, especially if we are talking libertadores, first half of 2014. I assume Gonzales would be out to Chile or Mexico.

Chicao is better than the Wallace 2013 1st half, but not the 2nd half. I don't think Wallace will leave the starting lineup.

Agree with Mengão. Wallace really came on towards the end of the season. There were games where he looked amazing out there. But I don't want to downplay what chicão meant to the team last year. Youre right about that.

Galo's president Alexandre Kalil confirms that @celito 's favorite player of all time, R10, will renew with Atletico.

Rildo may not have gone to Santos, but now @lawsonishere will be dreaming for days of what a Rildo + R10 combo will do to defenses.

At the moment, probably not. It's safe to assume they'd use Fernandinho, Ronaldinho, Tardelli; Jô. If anyone leaves, he'd play.
