I'd be cautiously optimistic. That's a ton of money for a striker who hasn't been in form since summer of 2012. His case is different than Pato's though, so a change in scenery may be enough.

I like to gamble but yea same sentiments coming from me too. Still I would like to see the other alternatives which there is pretty much nothing.

If everyone can stay healthy, he has no excuse not to succeed. Vargas, Cicero, Montillo, T. Ribeiro (possibly subbing for someone) in an offensive minded system by Oswaldo. I don't see any excuse for him not to succeed. Santos are looking like possible title contenders on paper. I really don't see any point in signing Diego...

Same here like really what can Diego add if you have Cicero and montillo on the pitch? We saw last year how hard it is to find Montillo a comfort zone on the pitch so that makes me weary even if Diego isn't brought in.

Sao Paulo have an investor to try to buy Vargas from Napoli.

Enquanto o Santos negocia por um empréstimo de um ano e meio, o clube do Morumbi, a princípio, tem a intenção de comprar 50% dos direitos econômicos de Vargas. Vitoria and Bahia are interested in Pedro Ken, who I think would be useful for most squads in the lg. I'm just surprised clubs like sport and Chapecoense aren't looking at him. He can play multiple positions and his a reliable workhorse.

Enderson is likely to coach Flu right? Not a bad move for him but I think Goias will struggle with Claudinei. I wasn't to far off with my Bahia prediction for Claudinei but they chose another youth coach Marquinhos Santos instead.
