Since it's being requested to have a separate thread for this topic from the Injury thread, then please post exclusive discussion here about players that have to leave their NWSL team for national team call-up.

As noted earlier today, the USWNT will play against Canada in early May, and that match is still a Go.
It's only a couple of weeks away, and players will be called in to camp real soon.

A lot of teams could be without their players for a game or two, during this match against Canada.
All related discussion can be organized in this thread.

You want me to delete it, or are you talking to another forum control person?
If so, how do I delete a topic?

Looks like the other thread for national team call-up is gone as well?
You mentioned that someone already had another thread specific to it, but I can't seem to find it on here.
    Maybe it got deleted somehow.

While your post is still editable, there is a delete button right next to where it says edit. But once you can no longer edit it, you can no longer delete it.

Yeah, I see that I can edit the other more recent post in this thread, but not the original post to start the thread.

How can we get you promoted to be a mod for all of the NWSL forums and not just the one subform (since Bonnie Lass has gone MIA)? Is there someone we can message to ask?

Yeah, actually the name does ring a bell now.
Was she the one from Sweden or Denmark or something?

I'll ask around the mod forum and see. With the start of the season, this place will be busy

Yeah, I knew it was somewhere in that part of Europe.
That's right, she used to talk about the glory days of Norway in how they used to beat the USWNT.
At least, I believe she was the one. I guess I never knew she was a moderator.
But I don't think she has been here since the days of WPS (and pre 2011 WWC) ???

Bonnie had stopped posting on the forums but was peeking in every now and then. She's taking care of real life at the moment, I think. One of the best posters this side of the forum had. Bonnie is good people.

Yeah, I went through the old archives, and she sent me a couple of messages back in 2010, 2011, etc.
Here's a more recent one from 2011. I certainly remember her now.

Generally the first thing a German International does to celebrate her retirement is play in the NWSL. We're a little like Social Security.

Meh. If I'm her, I'd stay in Deutschland or France--that PSG money is long.
