Just got off the phone with USSF who says there will still be a game Saturday March 29th in Seattle with the USMNT v ????.

They are looking at several replacement teams, and Uruguay is one of the possible opponents.

They said they should have word by end of day as to who the new opponent is.

personally I think we should play the U-17s so we can all see Adu in person play.

next to that, i'd settle for Brazil. :)

Props to the Venezuela federacion de futbol, or whatever it might be called for excepting the invitation on such short notice.

Actually, USSF had been working on this since Japan's initial hesitation.

Regardless, kudos to both USSF and Venezuelan Futbol - que beuno!

Venezuela won 4 of their last 5 WCQ's, so it should be a quality match.

What's Venezuela's cuisine like? What dish are they known for? I am thinking of making a sign that says:

    Forget the French...Boycott Sushi!
    Buy ______________ (Venezuela Product here)
